A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Claire! I’m originally from New York City and am currently a fourth-year medical student at Stony Brook University pursuing a career in orthopaedic surgery. I completed my undergraduate degree at Duke, where I developed a strong foundation in the sciences. There, I volunteered on my college EMS team where I served as director my senior year and taught and mentored underclassmen—an experience that really shaped how I approach teaching: clear, practical, and supportive. In medical school, I was an Anatomy Teaching Assistant and am currently a student chief for the surgery clerkship. I enjoy helping students break down complex concepts into something more approachable and intuitive, and I strive to create a supportive, low-pressure space where you can ask questions, build confidence, and stay motivated. Outside of school, I love playing Catan with my family, trying new recipes, and spending time with my cat Zuko.
